If you were me?

I have Anime Gerad ( Anime Gerad ). It's a small anime based site.

Main page being Wordpress for anime news, my current reads, and forum news. Also have a custom skin, even though it is rather simple. Blogs, gallery, and a download manager. I was also thinking of making a radio like thing for the place and adding CommunitySEO. Perhaps the blogs are over kill?

I'm making no money from it and the the forum is currently inactive. If you were me, would you continue? As I'm at the point of kinda not caring or giving up. I'm dealing with family drama, I'm not making too much money, and lack Internet access.

I know this is for creating interest for members. But the thing is, as an admin, I'm also a member. Haven't lost interest in the subject or forums, just getting fed up.

This is a question that no one can answer but you yourself.
You need to ask yourself this: ' Why am I operating my forum?'

-If you feel that the primary motivating factor for your forum's existence is to generate income; and your forum is not making any money, -The answer is simple.

If you are operating your forum recreationally or as a public service, but feel the level of activity on your board is disappointing, the answer is not so simple.

If operating the board is no longer rewarding or of interest to you, you may want to reconsider your commitment to its maintenance. Maybe find someone to take over its operation and everything that would involve.

Best of luck.

Right, I think that first you need to figure out what you want to get out of the forum...Once you've figured out that, then decide whether or not you can change your forums to achieve this. That's outcome-directed thinking instead of problem-directed thinking

Focus on the goals, not the problems.
