Doesn't really matter james. Traffic sells banners. Does it matter if your traffic is guests or members to people who advertise? The more people that see the ads, the better for the advertisers.

I agree. The key is if it is just a short period of time, keep doing it daily so it keeps the traffic relatively the same day in day out.

I get a period burst of traffic from stumbleupon, like an extra 100 uniques a day - but it's not the result of anything I have done

I have StumbleUpon installed in my Firefox browser. It's helped me find quite a few cool sites! I also put my site on there for other people to StumbleUpon.

Well, we recently put Xanthom Designs on stumbleupon, and i logged off around 2am, then logged back in later that day to find that 585 guests have came from it, well most of them.
