![]() ![]() ![]() | Interviews? Help your forum? I see a lot of forums that attract forum owners and such have an interviews section, but how much of a role do new interviews play with such forums? Do they attract new people - that will read the interviews and tell their friends about the new interviews or what? Well, I'm asking this because we have an interviews section on our community and we're trying to interview everyone in our niche - from owners - to artists to the main players.

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | I've never added interviews to my site, so i can't say if it would help my forum - this is something i want to do in the future. I would assume that it would help your board though.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wouldn't necessarily say that they're done to attract new members (although, if they are done with big figures, maybe so), but they are more for good, solid content. Interviews are unique in the fact that not just anybody can create them. Anybody can write articles, and anybody can make posts in forums, but interviews are unique...They're like the Web 2.0 of content

![]() ![]() | If you're interviewing the right people it can bring a lot of visitors particularly from word of mouth on other forums in your niche etc. As Ryan said, it's a unique piece of content. It also adds some authority to the status of your site. All of which are positives and will help position you ahead of competitors.
