This doesn't make any sense. Yesterday I was frontpage Google for searches on "L4D" and now I'm page 6. Any clue as to why the major turn around??

Google is weird like that, how new is the site? It will jump around a bit until it's more established, just work on getting good backlinks through forum signatures and blog posts and etc. and it will help with your ranking

Howdy, an update for y'all. We now have 31 members which is not bad for a game which has not been released yet and we're listed fourth (out of 120,000) hits on a google search for L4D. I have been in contact with the president of turtle rock studios (the developer) and he's going to list us on the main site, l4d.com as a news item. These are very exciting times.

I'm also thinking about the future and have picked up l4dfiles.com and left4deadfiles.com in order to be able to supply mods and other such files at game release.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes, and when I am successful I can tell them it was down to the help and advice of the adminfusion crew.

One suggestion I have is to make the welcome image the same color as the background color. Also I personally think that google ads look better with no border and the same background as the page they're on but thats up to you. Its gotta be cool to be in touch with the devs, that should really give you some popularity.

Funny thing, is the welcome block does match in Opera. :/ Just not in FF or IE. I could do with changing the text too.

I was wondering if that was the case, because I've had the same thing happen to me before. For me it was in FF it looked perfect but IE and others it was clearly a different color.
