    | Affiliate Forums I'm trying to create interest in my new forum (Affiliate Talk - Internet Marketing Community) and I am having very limited success. I know it is quite a competitive niche, but I want to break into it by doing things specifically for the community. I don't intend to plaster the forum with ads. And I have no problem with members posting Affiliate Links in their posts. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on ways for me to pull in members? What would you all recommend an affiliate forum offers their members?

| I actually had a feeling I would get that response  I personally prefer phpBB, just for the fact that I can mod and redistribute it without limits.

| The design is nice, but when it comes to affiliate discussion, there are already some big players that you're going to have to compete with. I'd suggest branching out, add a website to go with the forum, write a few articles on affiliate marketing, such as how-to's and guides and advertise as much as you possibly can. Look for others that are willing to write articles as well as ask them if they will submit them to your website or allow to you reproduce them through your website.

| Thanks for the suggestions mate, I've just added a blog, link directory and I'm working on a mailing list and article system. Going to add the navigation links as soon as I get their themes done, hopefully by the end of the week. ps. Does anyone know of a good PHP/MySQL mailing list manager?
