| Apprentice | Dog Breed Forum Hello. I have opened a forum for Hungarian Vizslas at Hungarian Vizsla Forums - Index - Hungarian Vizsla Discussion Forums - Talk About Vizslas I was wondering if anyone had advice about marketing a completely new forum about a specific breed of dog. Currently there are no other complete forums, but there are 3 big Yahoo Groups with a few thousands posts etc. Thanks Calum

| Super Moderator ![]() | Hungarian Vizsla - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia wikipedia normally has a ton of info but it seems limited for this breed. I think if you have knowledge/personal experiences you can provide a personal side of information. For example, training techniques, habits/personality traits you've noticed. P.S. That's a good looking breed. Reminds me of a grey hound and a hound mix.

| Apprentice | Yeah thanks. I have used wikipedia for an article about the history of the breed and plan to add more about training, feeding and other things. I have some personal knowledge, because I have one of them and have had others, but there are some good resources. I have also contacted relevent websites asking for link exchanges, the pet niche seems to be quite friendly as say yes, unlike the computers niche. Yeah I love the breed ![]() Thanks for your help.

| Super Moderator ![]() | Probably because the pet niches aren't in it to make money, they've got a website because they really love their pets and are willing to share sites to expand peoples love of pets.

| Apprentice | Yeah, thats also the reason I set up the my forums. I set up CompuTalk - Web Development and Computer Forums - Discuss Computers, Web Development, Web Design, Software, Hardware, The Internet and More to make money, but the adsense on my dog forum is only to pay for the server. Most of them seem nice, sending link exchange requests gets back "Thats nice, I have added the link thank you" but if I did that for my computer forum I would probably get flamed or something. Anyway, I will keep adding articles and then start advertising rapidly. Thanks

| Groupie | Write a few articles and submit to directories. Also perhaps answer Yahoo Answers (w/ reference back to your website).
