  | Need help with promotion! I recently started a forum about technology. It has a section for everything from java and html type things to computer hardware. I was wondering if anyone knew how to propmote a forum such as mine. Also where should i look for staff members? Thanks in advance everyone!  |

 | Post in search engines, do some link trading and post exchanges. Post in bigger and more used directories and fill your forum with posts, the more posts, the more active it looks. Good luck.

 | He probably means that you should submit your sites to search engines. Most search engines (Google included) have an option where you can manually submit your site. However, the reality is that in most cases you're just wasting your time. Search engines are smart enough nowadays to pick your site up within a couple of days automatically. Just get a couple links from other sites going to your site and you'll be indexed by most major search engines in no time.

| Well you can always talk in other related forums and put your forum in your signature. (if allowed) That works wonders especially if your forum is better/different.

| well you can search for some staffs to post in your forum regularly at digital point and also if you are interested in our service you can check out my signature link, we provide very good staffs to post in your forum. |
