Pay to get new members/posts?

Hi All,

I've seen it on a few forums were they advertise or talk about paying people to make posts, is it really worth it? does it benefit your community in the long run?

If it's recommended can anyone suggest or recommend a reputable provider of this service?

I'm eager to get our forums buzzing, We do have 6000+ posts but these are by about 15 or 20 members and I really want to up the amount of members posting.

I used some paid services and all forums I did this are dead now

The one I got my friends and couple of other people to start posting is very active and successful today !

So go figure.

If you think it will help you then do so but I would rather offer some kind of incentive for "normal" people.

Hi,

Thank's for your reply.

Were the quality of posts poor? or was it just really noticeable that it wasn't a genuine member?

I don't really like blatantly self-advertising here, but I have no choice

I saw your service advertised on another site, Most i've found require you to run one of the popular message board's in order to use them, is that the case with you? I assume that those that do use automated software.

I'm interested in this too. If you do use a service please let us know how it goes. Or if anyone else has first hand experience of a service it would be good to hear your comments

I think that it's a bad idea to post on the forum that you will pay for each post, as at some point, there will be so many people that you won't be able to pay them, and once they stop getting paid, they will most likely go elsewhere.

Now, if you can find a good paid post provider, that may be a good idea, as they can liven up a forum, and that will encourage people to register.
