![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Provide e-mail to forum members I am looking for an easily manageable way to provide e-mail addresses to my forum members. I can login to cPanel and create accounts as requested but I would rather have a script installed that takes care of this for me. Does anyone know of any website script that would allow members to create an e-mail account and then access it via a webmail system? Thanks in advance...

| The Webmaster ![]() | Can't say I know anything like this either, sorry. I'd be interested to hear if anyone does as I have just set them up manually in the past when I have offered email accounts.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Wow, thanks AzH. That sounds exactly like what I am looking for. It hasn't been updated in awhile and most recently is still in beta stage but I will give it a shot. Edit: I might hold off just yet. Several people are reporting errors with that modification and there has been no support in over a year. Based on the modification though I have something to continue searching for.

![]() | You can sign up for Google Apps for your domain standard edition. And when you sign up it will ask for "Number of users" (number of email account you will need) just enter like 1000. In the standard edition (free) you will have to open the account for each user. |

| Lurker | Long long ago, there was HiveMail which was actively developed by Chen (FireFly), one of the founding developers and administrators of vBulletin.org. I believe Kevin, a former Jelsoft employee also was on board with the project before it was abandoned. It was actually a quite nice system and integrated nicely with vBulletin, however, as it stands, vBMS is about the only script I've been able to locate. You may wish to look into either SocketMail or perhaps @Mail. Pricing between the two varies quite a bit, however, it would provide you with something similar to what you're looking for. Both of these scripts have been around for a while and are actively updated/developed. |

| Lurker | No problem . GoogleMail is a great solution, however, there's no way to automate it that I've seen. The above-mentioned scripts, @Mail and SocketMail will allow you to automate the sign-up requests or create them manually. |
