I'd Love More Participants and Viewers. How To Do It?

Fluffy Bricks is my blog. I want it to be read and looked at by miniaturists and non miniaturists alike.
By participants, I mean commenters, and also people willing to submit photos. I've posted the link around on miniatures forums that I participate in. I have enough photos, but what I'd like to do is make it well, fashionable, or 'cool' to submit photos to me, somehow, so that one day I don't have to keep going and asking people if I can post a photo on my blog. At least that's the ultimate goal. And to do that I think I need lots of viewers.

I don't know how to get the word out to non miniaturists. I know that non miniaturists like looking at miniatures just because they're cool.

At the moment I have anywhere between 40 and 150 unique viewers a day. I'd like to get it up to at least 500.

I do go around commenting on other people's blogs, but I'm never sure which ones to comment on, so I feel like I'm not doing it in the best way that I could- I don't know many other blogs you see, or how to find them. Particularly since I want ones that I actually like, so I'm not just spamming by having "Oh wow, I hope you have a nice holiday!" sorts of comments and then never going back to them because I have no emotional connection to that blog.

Basically, how could I make this as popular as I possibly can?

Have you done any SEO work? How much of your traffic is coming from search engines? I would do some keyword research and try to target them and get some high rankings if you haven't already.

I have used linkreferral.com and it has brought in quite a bit of traffic but pay attention to their IPs, some are leacher bots.

I have some miniture funiture for sale on Ioffer. It's old Xacto funiture from the 1970's. I think they are first few years kits. They don't sell for much and I have them priced really high over there normal selling prices.

My forum is geared towards auction site marketplace buyers and sellers and that's the crowd to need to target. Ebay buyers of minitures are the people you are looking for.

I just opened the site a couple of months ago and it doesn't get to much traffic. You can drop some banners and links on my site in your sig. I'm really heavy into the auction site marketplace and know it well.

If you sell some of your minitures on an auction site I can make a forum for minitures and you can make a banner clickable to your auction site store. USIFF is a totally free auction site and it doesn't cost anything to list there. I sell on Ebay, Ioffer & USIFF.

I'm not actually selling anything right now really. Why did you price them really high over their normal selling prices?

I suppose yes, I could target buyers of miniatures, but my site's not really showcasing things just for sale, these are often people's personal projects.

I priced them high because some pieces sell for alot more than normal going rates. I will leave them up for sale at a high price for a year or so then start to "inch" the prices down until they start selling.

You don't have to be selling anything to register on my forum. I do have open off topic threads.

Also I have an antiques and collectables showcase for stuff like your minitures. You could start a thread under dolls and post pictures. If you decide to post some pictures in the showcase you may want to "resize" them to a smaller KB size. I don't have control over the picture sizes and they post extremely big. I have new forum and no picture size controls. I'm going to have to "complain" to the host about this.

I don't have to much traffic right now or members cause it's a new forum. I do have some traffic and it's just starting to show up on the search engines.

Your welcomed to post pictures. You can also add banner and links to your blog in your "Signature". No problem.

My site is basically advertising oriented so load your signature up.
