Help Please Guitar forum

I have a website forum but even though the topics are relevant and the forum in my opinion looks good i don't seem to get any interest, i would be grateful for some advice about what i am doing wrong. my forum is Guitar Backing Tracks Music Forum ~ a Runboard.com free message board many thanks

The design does not really say "guitars" to me, and I would nix the marquee text as that is tacky. Getting some forum icons in the empty left column would be a good start (something guitar related).

I think not having a real domain would seriously hurt your chances for growth. Also, a good idea to drum up people would be to create some instructional videos for guitars and post them on as many viral video sites as possible, obviously at least on youtube. Youtube is a great way to get word out about your site and get a nice traffic burst.
