![]() | Paid Posting to attract visitors Hi, what do you guys think about paid posting? Being the owner of one of the first paid posting services, I must say that this was first an experiment (since there was noone in the market doing this), and it gladly took off, helping hundreds of webmasters to build their forums easily. It may seem that with paid posting you will create a fake community, that will disappear once the service will finish - that's not exactly true. The main mistake of many webmasters is to think that by purchasing 75 paid posts you will create a community. That's not the case! Experience showed that in order to have results you must plan a posting campaign of at least 3 months, purchasing 1400-2000 posts to be spread slowly on a daily basis. Once you have this, people will naturally flow in and interact with paid posters, that being still hired will reply to the threads, creating a community feeling. And well, once 3 months passed its supposed that a little community has been created, so paid posters will slowly go off, leaving space to "real" posters. This can also be done with 10-15 friends willing to post on your board for months, but how many can dispose of such help? Hope this explains my point of view on paid posting ![]() Falco85

![]() | I think that paid posting can be a good thing if you find a good company. You should not stereotype paid posting companies all together. Some are good...some not-so-good. |

| Apprentice | I agree with kc5hwb. I think that different companies are better than others and that there are some companies that are not very well known that might be better than those. In the same breath, though, sometimes you think a company is good and they turn out to be bad. My advice is to research the company and if worse comes to worse, don't be afraid to request a small, free trial to see if you like their writing. You are the customer, you have final say in the end if you want to pay or not.

| Groupie | Ok I agree that depending on the companies reputation and integrity this can be a viable method, although has anyone had a good experience with any such company and if so a list of reputable one's may be beneficial to new webmasters

![]() | Well, I don't mind telling you that yes, I hired a pay service and though they did rather well on my Tech Support Forum. So when I saw the business come up for sale a few months later, I bought it Now I am one of those companies that you are talking about and I do have many satisfied customers. Sometimes people email me and ask questions that seem skeptical, so I gladly answer them and as I stated, you need to watch of for some of those services. But its my opinion that most of them are good. This is a good source of info on the top ones... http://www.paidpostingreviews.com |

| Apprentice ![]() | The best way to find out is to try them out. I would definitely do as MafiaMaster said and request a 10 post trial, just to make sure they are even worth trying. |

![]() ![]() | I am trying paid posting for the first time ever on a new forum. I have purchased about 2300 posts and the forum is in the early stages of this paid posting venture. It will be very interesting to see how the forum is doing toward the end of this paid posting campaign.

![]() | I've tried them an even used falco's paid posting service. I've tried several different ones. Most will always post the 10 *trial* posts that you purchase but once you buy a larger package I've noticed that the job gets worse. I've had one guy post 4 when I bought a couple of hundred. He did refund my money but I would of prefered the posts. Also, I've noticed a lot will copy posts from other forums. Watch out for this and inform the post not to do that. These copied posts also came from the same guy that did not pay me. Falco runs a good service. I'd recommend him.

![]() | Paid posting companies aroused lately when we started as mushrooms I mean, you could find in all places ads of newborne companies offering posts for an incredible low price! Anyway these ones did not stand the competition. first, if you want quality posts you must be ready to pay the right price for it. and second, if you want to survive this tough market you need to provide quality content, otherwise bad feedback will spread all around and you will just lose ground under your feet ![]() The trial posting is a nice way in which you can try paid posting, though in my opinion is not very representative of the service itself. It is normal that one in trial posting will put their best poster doing outstanding post.. but regular posts are just different than trial ones. What you need to do, in my opinion, is to purchase the company's smaller package. Then, when you see that the quality is ok, do not purchase the bigger one suddenly. I would advice purchasing packages gradually, or try to contact the company owner and make a private agreement. If you pay them in several instalments, they will always try to do their best since they want your money and that when said from a paid posting owner it means that you can believe me ![]() besides of this, regarding my own company we luckily achieved to reach a quality service from the beginning, though we faced difficulties as well. Anyway our motivation is to always listen the customer, and meet his expectations. We firmly believe in word of mouth, and that a good feedback is 100000x worth a paid ad ![]() we never let our customers down, and we also managed packages of 10,000 posts all together that were done for a big posting campaign in several months. So, as someone said, it's really up to the company you're going for! ![]() Just my 2 cents, again! Alessandro a.k.a. Falco85
