Hey gprime, I was the founder of ForumLaunch, I think I remember you

Paying people to post on your forum definitally isn't meant for an extended period of time. Think of it as hiring a content writer. A paid poster is there just to give the forum some nice content and make it appear that the forum is active. It's just something to help new forums get a jump start and it can be very useful.

Hello, I am the owner of ForumElves.Com
Some questions above answered:
Quality of the posts differ but I tell my writers to have an average of 2-3 sentences per post.
The packages are usually just to help your forum startup, or keep going. Once the forum is able to be active by itself, we are usually not called in anymore.

If you have any questions about it... please feel free to ask me

Yeah, there's a big market out there for being paid $0.05 up to $0.50 for posts...It is not meant to be a long-term thing...90% of the time it just provides a spark in your community that fades as soon as you stop paying

I have also used some paid posters to my forum.

I think it is the best way to jump start a forum, as it is almost impossible to make by yourself enough posts to convince the new visitor that you have an active forum.

I will agree with Dn Lodge that it is better to ask for new posts only, because the quallity of the replies that you get is really bad, but this ofcourse will be more expensive than a new posts & replies package.

Ive done some paid per post jobs before..
It works good when you have the period with the posters getting paid ...
but after my experience its all get quiet after the paid posters is done with their posting.
I quess it depends... if you run a good contest at the same time as having paid posters on your forums It might be some more live on the boards for a while..

I believe the two sites simply exchanged links. You'll notice Elf, from Forumelves.com, is a member here.
