How much to charge for advertising

Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 84 Location: Queensland, Australia  | How much to charge for advertising I have been thinking about selling some advertising in addition to the adsense I have put up on my forum. It has been getting over 2,000 unique visits a month along with more than 5000 page views. The links would be placed under the banner where it has the contest links. How much do you think I could charge per month? (Link in sig)

| I don't really know a specific number to start at, but definitely start low and if you need to you can always raise it. You want to be able to find that balance of when it's hard to sell them but eventually all the spots sell.

It's best to start low and work your way up if you find that the links sell quickly. If you have trouble selling the links, then drop them $1....if they all sell in the blink of an eye, raise them $1 (or more) Keep readjusting until you find a healthy medium...and this will never end...We still adjust our rates here at AF almost continuously
