too many variable to judge. place them all over everywhere, using custom channels. then remove the ones that dont get clicked....

Yeah, I would have to agree with that...I will say from experience that I've seen the best results with Adsense directly after the first post, followed by Adsense at the end of each thread.

Adsense in the header or footer rarely gets clicks.

in general, link units do better then content units in the header and footer. if you can code it, the little 468x60 on the top left next to the title gets a good amount of clicks too, you can see it here

http://www.talkdelaware.com/comparin...82.html?t=3182

def make sure you track every ad you place, you will get a feel for where people click. and change your ad format, color and placement often, like every 2 weeks. i switch my sidebars from left to right and vice versa about every 2 weeks.

Well I did insert them after the first post and text links under the menu (navigation menu) and of course I will try inserting at the end.. will try even to make some adsense at the top of every thread..but I will not make them all at the same time.
