Clickbank

Hi I just wanted to know if clickbank ads are used on forums? Can you make a topic about books relevant and review them with the cb link at the bottom? Is it good etiquette to do this or not?

Thanks everyone

I don't think i have ever seen clickbank ad's, are you refering to the ads at the top of the forum, and at the bottom? is clickbank an actual ad? or an ad displaying software? because AF used phpadsnew.

And i don't think that this will be done, maybe an interview could be done with them?

You are only allowed to do this if you are a supporter of AF, to link to somewhere, using your referral ID etc and making money from it.

Yes, you could make money off your forum by doing this - depending on if actually someone bought it though.

Does it matter if it is considered as good etiquette as long as it brings money in, who cares? loads of forums plaster google ads on there forums to bring money in, is this considered good etiquette?

You can't really use this word to ask if its good or not to put it on your site.

Well yeah I guess your right.

I was just more interested if it has taken place on other forums and what the success rate of it is.

Thanks for the advice

John

It all depends on your forum subject, say if you had a car forum and you advertised to sell a SEO e-book then i highly doubt that you would make any revenue because your users wouldn't be able to relate to the product you are advertising.

But if you was to advertise e-books that are on the same subject as your board, then you make may make a little revenue but its depending on your users.
