What is the best ad network?

Well i personally think that google adsense is the best one
i may think this because it was the 1st one i used and am still using on my site

It really depends on the type of website you run. AdSense works well for some topics, however, not for all. The exact same could be said for any advertising network, it simply boils down to content and ad relevancy.

AdSense is a great network, if you have the content, but for those with new websites, you're not going to see much of anything happen.

Contextual Ad Networks (AdSense, Yahoo! etc) require content since they read from your content, if you have little to no content, you're ads are going to be irrelevant and un-targeted to your audience.

I've found affiliate marketing and private advertising sales to top AdSense ten-fold in the past.

those are hard to get
i currently have around 1290 pages of content
but it will be very unlikely for me to get affiliate marketing and private advertising sales

I agree with Kim.
Also it's kinda of a loaded question. What works on one site may not work on another.

Adsense is great to get started with and then add some affiliate programs and private advertising.
