I can't believe there isn't a thread on Project Wonderful already!
Project Wonderful is a great way to put ads on your site, and to advertise your site as well. It's pay per day, not pay per click, and lots of the ads are very very interesting, so they're worth clicking on to visit.

Who uses it other than me? You can see how it works on my forum, linked in my signature, if you want.
It also provides some decent statistics.

Yes of course. It doesn't work like google adsense- these guys let you get it out as long as you have $10. It took me only a few weeks to get to that point.

I haven't heard much from them so I am doubting how good they are. Can you give any examples of 'success' with them?

I'll check them out. I've been looking for a new broker for Left 4 Dead Forums as I don't feel the adsense payout is doing my traffic justice.

wow, i really like the advertiser search thing with the graphs, that is something that is really missing on many sites like this. i will definitely check it out for some of my smaller sites and see how it goes.

Those are some pretty sweet graphs... might have to do something like that on soem other sites as well..

An example: Questionable Content, one of the most popular webcomics uses them. He gets at least $5 a day for a tiny button ad- and he has several, plus some bigger ones. I've seen some go up to $65 a day.

I've got about $40 in a month before for my forum. Which isn't bad considering it's a small forum without passing traffic.

I currently have a $0.50 a day bid on my header advert which is $15 a month. Not bad, I suppose after just a few days of being active. Have added smaller ad options on subforums using a forum sponsor hack. Not sure how suvvessful they will be though....
