| It is about 23% at my forum (CompuTalk - Web Development and Computer Forums - Discuss Computers, Web Development, Web Design, Software, Hardware, The Internet and More) When it was newer it was only around 10% but now lots of people seem to register and not post. | ||||

| I think 25% is good. On mine I have 800 members (closed forum) and I'm around 35% but my site is more of a resource site than an active discussion. Most topics and posts are posted by the administrators. New people are weary to post new topics because they don't know much about things on the site and rather read. Of the 35% that have 0 posts, about 75% of them visit every day. | ||||

| I have about 20% non posters. But this is mainly cause my forum is for a clan, and you need to post to get in the clan. Alot just post to get in my clan, and disapear. (so about 1 -2 posts)

| Members who join and don't post within 14 days are deleted. Since we're a closed forum a lot of people request an invite just because they're curious and never come back. That keeps down the amount of people with access to our private thoughts who don't have as much to lose. | ||||

Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 288 | I have practically no one with zero posts. When you join my forum site, you can only post in the Say Hello forum. It is only one of two forums you can see when you register. if you do not make an Introduction you don't get transferred to full access. I give them a few days then I delete them if they haven't tried to post something or make that Intro. I strongly prefer it this way because it not only filters out spammers and idiots, it give me a membership listing of real people, real members. I prefer to list and host only real people as much as I can. So, this approach works for me personally. | ||||
