I have come accross a few forums with over 50% of immature posters, you can't get your point accross or even have a proper debate. All the older members are usually promoted to moderators because they show a hell of a lot of maturity (understandable). But with your point about politics and business, I think that some kids can have a view on things such as this. All kids have different views on things, and some kids favour things like that because of their parents career. But as you said that is only about 5% of kids as all the others won't even think about the UN or how the Iraqi War is changing petrol prices.

You say that some kids can talk about politics in business, but only 5%...which is very insignificant. And yes, you're probably right about that...I can't say that 100% of kids cannot talk about these subjects, but I think business and political forums are better off outlawing all people 13 years or younger instead of allowing them and weeding out 95% of them. I might have been wrong in saying that no 13 year olds can't discuss business and politics, but I still dont believe they should be allowed in business in politics forums...given how few of them are capable of discussing it

I think that politics forum owners would know where to advertise and wouldn't advertise on forums such as zymic, so a lot of kids wouldn't know how to get to them.

After a couple posts you can normally get an idea of the age. Variety is good, and the internet in general is saturated with younger users so we might as well get used to it. Gives me a better idea how a large percentage of internet users think. Personally I've yet to see younger users dominate posts they don't have experience in. Can't say the same about older users that try to dominate subjects they have little knowledge of.

But I can get annoyed by younger ones writing in sms language with alot of Zs and stuff and spelling errors that 5 year olds do. ( My mother tongue is not english so dont tease my if I got spelling error in english like a 5 year old )But as I have wroten in another post I have a forum member who hate younger ones. Really hate them. I have seen her write like this: You can fucking shut up, you are just a little kid anything you say is shit and I dont like talking to people over 18 at all. I keep telling her that on my forum everyone has the right to have and opinion and if she cant respect that she will get banned. Its okay to disagree, but not to get personal. I am 20 myself and consider myself a youth not a grown up so I dont know if I am the right person to answer your question. But I think its funny do write with both younger and older members.
