By doing that you're no better than he is. Just keep on banning him, eventually they will give up. Theres nothing more you can really do.

IE common traits to an email address or username. then I would put those common traits in my do not allow filters. Unless they are too broad. I have even went as far as causing a 404 error to come up when someone attempted to register with one of the common traits. That confused the hell out of them.

He sees his posts but nobody else does and wonders why everyone is ignoring him...Fun. Or there is that neato Miserable Users mod over at vbulletin.org. It makes all kinds of problems 'appear' for this particular user. He gets aggravated and eventually stops coming to your board because to him, your forums are terrible. Slow loading, errors, timeouts... hehe. I find this far more entertaining than banning them. | ||||
