| Forum Enthusiast ![]() | Do you delete the members you ban? Do you delete the members you permanently ban or do you keep them? I usually delete them because the only people ive banned were spammers so i had to delete all there posts, they never posted anything helpful so it doesn't matter its not like if i delete their user names their posts will be messed up (did that make sense?)

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nope, I don't delete them. I usually like to keep them, just so they don't appear as, "Guests" on the posts they made.Chris |

| Veteran ![]() | I like to keep them around at least for a while. Might need to reference their info for whatever reason

![]() | I keep them around for a while, untill I have gleaned enough info from them such as email domain and/or Ip address if needed. Then if they are coming from a problematic domain (read spam email address) then I go ahead and ban that domain..then delete the accts.

| The Webmaster ![]() | Generally I don't delete them. The only time I would is if it was a duplicate account or something.

| Just keeping it real ![]() ![]() ![]() | I do! Mainly because they are spammers and I don’t get the sign-ups at my niche forum as most forums do. So I don’t need sexpot as my newest member listed. I ban they e-mail and ip address and then delete them. So any spammers come, I delete 'em. I look at it in another way. Not deleting them increases your membership numbers, but then if someone starts looking at you numbers they are going to see a ton of members, even if they are banned, with 1 or no post.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, I don't delete them...if I did delete them, there would be no way for me to go back and look at their email address or IP and compare it with other spambots and what not to stop them in the future.
