| How to handle members who threatin to spam Recentley on Lostgurus which i am a super moderator of a member threatened to spam like there was no tommorow if new content wasnt posted on the forums and if his demands werent met he would spam. What would you do if this happened to you?

| threaten to spam ? well, I would ban him right away vb has some good banning tools, if not ban then put him in the miserable users group  ps. I think you both handled it well, but I would still add the miserable user hack and put that user in it.. | ||||

A simple ban can sometimes just wind someone up, but if they're just ignored and get all the forum errors most the time they don't even know what you've done. they continue trying to post, then just give up and piss off.

| Well i will be keeping a closer eye on him and his posts, If he makes another spam account then i'll compare the ip's to the 2 accounts that he has already registered.

| Most people who make threats normally don’t follow through. If they do, just take appropriate actions by banning. | ||||
