I made a small banner for my signature:

Do you think this will work a little bit on reducing posts in the wrong section. Maybe members will at least check twice before posting?

I'll agree w/ RM on the speed, but I think the concept is solid, just need to fix the execution

Yeah..i'll just slow it down a bit.

I think its a nice idea and would be interested to know if it really does help for you.

I recently was asked to admin another forum where kids tend to post a lot (by kids I mean Jr. High School age and younger). The boards were a mess when I first got there, it took weeks to clean things up.

I decided to use this in my sig:

Interestingly (after the hoopla was over about big bad admin coming in and ruining their fun .. lol), many of the members began referring to it after a while when they noted someone being inappropriate.
