We've recently had to deal with some harassment and threats to both our website and our administration. It's been suggested by more than one individual, that we proceed with contacting the individual ISP services. Sadly, this will not only touch peoples personal lives, but as many of them also surf from work, this will also unfortunately touch their professional lives as well. It is not my intention to ruin anyone. It is not my intention to get anyone in any sort of trouble. And this is certainly not a form of retaliation. And this isn't a threat of any sort. This is business and the logical consequence for someone's seemingly illogical actions. So my question, since I know many of you have had to go down this road before...how exactly do you do it? Do you need screen caps, links, or just the statement with dates and times of all that's going down. I have all of the above, but I'm sure once they catch wind of what's going on, they'll be on a deleting frenzy. PS - the individuals are reading along as you'll notice from the guest count (and the fact that they made public that this admin board was found).

If it bounces, look on theispsdomain.net's website for an address. Send as much evidence as possible. Some ISPs only do something if it's illegal, but generally harassment is delt with by at least a warning, if not service termination. ISPs tend to monitor users more if they have been reported. The most important info the ISP will need is the user's IP address/es and the exact time that they were in use. All ISPs keep a record of this to identify what user it was that did something on that IP.
