hey

well.. on my forums i have a spammer that just signed up.
just asked a question about administration (what does hiding your online stats do) i told him that nobody can see you.

he is now hidden.. i have done a check and he is a spammer haha
he thinks he can spam under hidden

i will see what happens

How did you find out he was a spammer?

Any spammers I've had sign up, make their couple spam posts and leave

get the i.p
do a google search with the i.p
and see if the i.p has been on any forums. Mine had been a spammer on over 20 forums

After a while of running a forum you tend to automatically be able to guess who's a spammer and who's a genuine member.
