Vbulletin Intentional HAcking by competiting site.

There is an owner of another site he has personal issues against one member of our site, so he begans spamming my site.

This administrator happens to be an owner of a competing site.

Furthermore, he begins Instant Messenging me with swear words, and starts handing out threats to my website, and its downfall.

Then he broke through my staff section

I have saved all conversations with him, and banned his ip, but is there any way to get his vbulletin license revoked? Or anything?

It depends on your definition of hacking. If you used a simple password for your staff section (i.e. any combination of dictionary words), I wouldn't really consider it hacking.

That said, if this person is breaking into portions of your website and sending through SPAM, via e-mail or posting, you can report the abuse to their web hosting provider or ISP.

At the end of the day, you're probably going to have better lucky with the web hosting provider as most ISP's aren't really going to deal with small little incidents like this one. They are going to track major cases and problem users.

Is he in your country? If yes, you can contact authorities, threats on the net are usually treated in the similar manner as threats in the real world.

Get your users to launch a cooperative DDoS attack on his site.

Nah, on a more serious note, can we have more info? Where he is located? His age? Site niche?

Skip retaliation.

As for information, chances are you're probably not going to get too much information on him other than the bare essentials, primarily, the ISP and IP. It's too easy to just spoof a name and age on the internet.

Report the issue to his ISP or web hosting provider. Beyond that, you're not going to be able to do too much.
