I am using vBulletin on my main forum and I am using the NoSpam hack it works quite well. We do get a few manual spammers occasionally, but I usually ban their websites permanently and they don’t dare show their faces again

I didn't even know that this existed - gonna search it and give it a go.

One thing that deters some people and kinda works is putting the spammers website on the censor list.

The spammers can't get around that yet. But for some reason if I give them a permanent infraction or ban them they can still post?!

I just don't understand how that's possible unless there is a problem with the vbulletin code - does anyone else have this happen?
