I've never used the cPanel ban specifically....I just prefer to use vB's banning system instead. Afterall, when I need to ban somebody from the forums, banning them in vB does the job...I don't really care whether or not they can see the front page, as long as they can't post ![]() I suppose banning via cPanel is good when you're dealing with a hacker or somebody who you dont want to even touch your site at all - but I've yet to run into this. I've had some people banned serverwide before, but that was done through my host.
