| Title: Lurker Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 5 ![]() | I would recommend you ignore this feature completely, unless things have changed in phpbb (and other forum tools for that matter), the default backup systems require you to manually run them. Every site needs a backup system that is both automated and system operated so as to avoid issues if you go out of town or if your network connection to the web server should timeout. | ||||

Title: Apprentice Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 346 Location: Indiana ![]() | Back it up at least once a week. You don't need to keep ALL the backups; just the last one. Why? Well IF something does happen to your forum you have a pretty recent backup of the site. ~Crystal
