The other day I woke to find alll of my directory database records gone --second time this has happened in past year or so--i cant explain it--all 3000 odd records gone

i can restore so its really not a big problem but i dont know how it happens

Our forum hasn't been hacked in a long time. We have lost data due to Viruses, Worms, etc. - but never anything we couldn't recover from.

Backup, backup, and after you're finished backing up -- backup!
