  | Television Show Hello, I'm planning to make a forum based on a television show. I've seen many forums doing that but I'm still unsure about it. Am I allowed to have the television show's name as my domain/forum name? Do I have to have a disclaimer or something? Thanks.

  | Well I own LostGurus and I have not run into any problems nor have any big sites like lost-forum. I would suggest putting something in the footer saying you are not related. Good luck with the site!

  | I have "LostDiscussion" and now "HeroLounge" and had "LOSTFORUM" before. Never ran into any problems, but of course, I put a disclaimer in the footer.

| Putting up with some existing name should not turn into any issue unless that name is protected by copyright laws. Why don't you check up with some attorneys on the copyright issue ? |
