  | Download music parts Hi, Im thinking of making a section on my site where people can download music but only the first 20 secounds of it, then link to the iTunes Shop.. what you think? Is this legal? Or not allowed?

 | I know many sites do this but I think you still need permission to do it. Maybe email Itunes about it. They might get you permission some how if you are linking to them. They always like new ways to get buyers. |

  | Even if it was legal how would you get all the music? Why not just suggest people listen to the iTunes 30 second clip?

 | That would be good if you get the 30 seconds, are you going to link this to the iTunes Store Affiliate program - I think you get money when you sell items through your link

| Unless you're using somebody else's existing service, are paying a fee to do this, or have asked permission to do this...I highly doubt that it is legal - even if you are only playing clips. I think it's a great idea and would be of value to your members...but you need to get permission to do it first.

| How about putting a ad on MySpace asking for unsigned bands permission, alot of unsigned artists would be interested.
