Currently, I have McAfee as my computer's primary protection and today I got this pop up notice that it was time to update my protection. So, I did and this new lil green button is now amongst my browser tools.

It's actually kind of a neat tool. It's called the SiteAdvisor and from what I gather will alert you to whether or not the site has been "proofed" by McAfee... or anyone else for that matter. Yup... anyone because you too can become a site reviewer and leave comments about your experience on a website!

This could be fun because I've been getting spam from various sites and now I can go and report them on this SiteAdvisor thangie!

Check it out! Let's hear what you think. You could become a site reviewer and leave a nice note for PC101... which now has a lil comment from your humble Admin. If you do, lemme know!

That's pretty cool! In a sense, it's almost like a, "phishing filter", which can be very useful in some cases. I'll take a closer look at it after, for sure, and post my thoughts as I play around with it.

My dad has it and it has most sites on it but not all so you still have to watch what you are doing on some but its a nifty little program for what you need it for.

It's been around for a while now Site Advisor has and I find extremely useful in my firefox browser when I am searching with google.
