 | Data Protection Act Selling forums has always been a very grey area with regards to the Data Protection Act , (you cannot sell a list of users without first consent of each and every user)... I was just wondering how people get around this?

| A disclaimer in the rules or on the registration page such as "By registering on this site [XYZ.com], then you agree to us using your data for A, B and/or C and that we may/may not resell this data" should suffice.
