Something weird is going down with my site..

I have this feeling it may have been hacked. One, cuz I just banned someone and two, other pages appear to be okay...

So, I think they just hacked the index/home page.

How do fix it and... more importantly... how do I prevent them from doing it again?

Check your index.html or index.php, check if it is intact, if not upload a backup. (you DO keep backups, yes?)
If it appears intact, try looking around FTP for anything suspicious. Failing that, check with your host.

Yup, I do take back ups. I'm hesitant to just fix it until I can figure out how to prevent it. If the moron thinks it's still jacked up then he's going to remain content. If I fix it, he's just going to hack it again... and again... and again... until I shut down the way he's doing it. Any thoughts on how to prevent it?

What's more curious is that I just discovered that when I'm logged into the site it appears to be fine. But when I log out and return as a guest, I see this...



Again, it appears as though the homepage is the only one that's screwed up and it only appears screwed up when I'm not logged into the site... when I'm looking at it as a guest/visitor.

Is everyone else seeing the same thing????

Oh, I've been hacked before... for real! Some Brazilian soccer team put up something about how much their rival sucked. It was definitely annoying but not nearly as malicious as it could have been.
