Sure it can, the finest hackers in the world can do just about whatever they want...but I don't see why anybody would be so inclined to hack your test forums, and I don't know why you would be so concerned if they do ![]()

Even though I backup, it's a hassle to have to restore if it gets hacked. Hackers are petty minded IMO, I'm guessing there are some out there who will hack just for the hell of it. | ||||

Even putting it in a strange named directory such as www.yourdomain.com/fh3fdshnf should be ok. They also wouldn't gain anything from hacking it, no money and no publicity. | ||||

| Title: Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 74 Location: Birmingham, UK ![]() | In quite alot of cases, it would be your server which would be compromised - in this case you probably do not have to worry as i'm assuming that you have shared hosting i.e. your web host will manage the security of the server (note: this does not prevent attacks on outdated forum software).
