Fighting Spam
Ive been getting a lot of spam registrations lately. Does anyone know of any good mods that they have used and found to be effective??

I use Anti-Spam ACP which blocks them from entering their website when they register. I also use a mod from phbbhacks.com that requires a users first post to have a visual confirmation

The bots can even post now. There is a software package you can buy for $400.00 that can auto register, send a confirmation e-mail if it has to, and then post. It puts links in it's profile so it gets crawled with the user list to increase page rank.

It's really evil stuff in my opinion. I get 4-10 bogus registrations a week now.
