Mods? How can I tell?

How can I tell if a former admin put on some mods that I don't want?

I am the board owner and the current admin. The mods would have been to invade member's privacy and I want to make sure we don't have any of this on my board. I have clicked on everything I can see on the admin control panel and I don't see anything that looks like it shouldn't be there but of course I don't even know what the heck I'm looking for.

Thanks,
Salveregina

Other than clicking around like you are already doing, the only thing you can do is get a file comparison program and compare each and every php file and template in your forums to the stock/default files and templates or upgrade using the default files. Upgrading using the default files while not knowing what has been changed in your forums is very risky.

If it were me, I wouldn't worry about it if I did not see anything stand out in the ACP and the members were not mentioning anything they see that might be suspicious.

The best thing to do would be to look through FTP logs, or try out a demo phpBB ACP and compare it to yours
