Anti-Spam

The day after I officially opened my first forum I had about 8 emails from failed email validations. Not one that day or in the next couple of weeks turned out to be a valid user they were all marketing spam for cheap mortgages or online drug sales. I tried to install several programs to phpbb 2.0 and the first one that has made a real difference is called Anti Spam _ACP. Since its installation I haven't had any successful spam registrations. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is having similar problems.

I've used "NoSpam!" for vB:

It seems to work great as well.
