Newbies Joining Automatically Having Members Status

Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 61 Location: Arizona  | Newbies Joining Automatically Having Members Status Kittilicious and I have a problem at Insanity Cafe where our newbies joining automatically become members instead of newbie status. We have been all through the admin cp and can't figure out why this is happening. We have to go in an manually change their status to newbie. Quite a pain in the you know what. Anyone have this problem or know how we can fix it? All help is appreciated! Thank you.

| You'd have to edit the default member usergroup to the newbie one, and make a new member usergroup to which they get promoted to. At least I think  | ||||

Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 61 Location: Arizona | It's set up that way so newbies don't hit member status until 25 posts. Kittilicious thinks she has fixed it. I hope so.
