I'm not making any money off of it, and don't mind at all. I just have a liking for forums in general, and wanted to run my own.

It's a general discussion forum, siteless—not special. We're not a Net Nanny forum, though, so our environment may be different than what many are accustomed to; we allow flaming, and care not so much about "rudeness" as improper debate (broken record tactics, style over substance, etc) and vendettas, and whatnot.

We upgraded from phpBB2 to vBulletin just over a week ago. The banners are temporary, and we're still deciding on the colors for Enlighten, the default template. Also working on modifying the forum to satisfaction, but it's done enough that we've opened it back up, and welcome new registrants.

I've also tweaked some templates, giving me Myspace style profiles (on 3.6), and a clean, tidy postbit. The profile is about 5 different mods held together by custom code (idea was from vb.org but I redid it myself).

I've got a full infraction/auto ban system in place, and a gain-permissions as you level up system done with usergroup promotions in conjunction with ranks.
