vBulletin 3.6.4, rank image problem, please help!

Hello everyone, i have sat up all night working on my forum, and i cannot for the life of me figure out this problem.

So i have had to come in search of help, i really hope you can help me.

It is a fresh install of 3.6.4 that i am working with.

I have not made any additional user groups yet. I have added a single User Rank for myself, called Site Admin for the pre-made usergroup "Administartor" which is my primary and only group.

This is the image i am trying to use:

I know it has accepted this because it displays this rank image in my 'User Rank Manager'.

I have set the 'Minimum Posts' to firstly 1, and this did not work, i then made it a few posts over what i have, and posted tests to get up to the post count, still did not work, i then set it to 0, still not working.

The Display Type is set on always, and i have even tried setting this ranks group for All user groups. Still not showing up.

I have of course also updated the user titles and ranks, also refreshed pretty much everything in this part. Updated post count etc.

I noticed that if i go to one of my posts and look at the page source i can fine this:

Code:
<div class="smallfont">Administrator</div>
	<div class="smallfont"><img src="/images/GameZoneOnlineImages/Ranks/siteadmin.gif" alt="" border="" /></div>
If i put text as a user rank, it shows up fine below the user title, but when i specify the image, nothing shows.

So what is going on? Why can't i see rank images? I am at a lost cause, please help. Thanks!

Well I cannot see the image on here. You need to tell us where the image is stored, and what the page source is giving you. It seems your image isn't displaying right.

In that code you posted, see the alt section? Inside the quotation marks, place some random text. If you see the random text instead of the image, then it's obvious that the image isn't loading right. At least then you can isolate the problem.

Hi, the image i posted here did display, but since then i have solved the problem myself.

I think the problem was it was .gif format, it did not accept this for whatever reason, i am now using .png.

Thank you for your reply!
