Selling a VB license

Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 340  |  Selling a VB license So if I bought a VB license off someone I have to wait a year to be able to sell it again. BUT the license must be active so I need to pay $30 to activate it before I sell it? Am I on the right track? Thanks!

| I think it might be 6months? and yes it has to be active to transfer it i seen it in a thread somewhere the person had to re activate it to sell it. | ||||

| You'll need to check with vBulletin as to whether or not you'll be able to transfer the license out. If you just recently purchased the license, you probably won't be able to transfer it out (i.e. within the last 1-2 months, possibly 3). As for the license itself, yes, it will need to be an active license to begin the transfer process and it will need to be an owned license as well.
