XCache on VPS

Hi,

I've installed XCache on VPS but it doesn't work. I've edited php.ini but when I look at vB ACP -> Maintenance -> View PHP info I see no changes for XCache

Can you help please?

Do you have any other PHP optimizing scripts installed as well? Such as Zend or ionCube? If so, you need to make sure that the xCache information is *above* those in php.ini otherwise the scripts may conflict with each other.

We ran into the same issue with one of our customers, however, it was a quick as simple fix.

If you're still having issues, feel free to PM me and I'll be more than happy to give it a look over for you.

Thanks for answering

Yes I have Zend installed and yes xCache information is above Zend's in php.ini. Any way, I think the problem is gone (don't know how). I've just run "Update Server Software" and "Upgrade to Latest WHM Version" but I still don't know if that solved the problem.

Can you please tell me if my vB confing.php is OK like this?
Code:
    // ****** DATASTORE CACHE CONFIGURATION *****
    // Here you can configure different methods for caching datastore items.
    // vB_Datastore_Filecache  - to use includes/datastore/datastore_cache.php
    // vB_Datastore_APC - to use APC
    // vB_Datastore_XCache - to use XCache
    // vB_Datastore_Memcached - to use a Memcache server, more configuration below
$config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_XCache';
Is there anything else that I have to do, to take advantage of XCache?

That should be all that is required for the vBulletin configuration file.

What settings do you have set for xCache in php.ini? How much RAM does your VPS provide you with?
