| Forum Junkie ![]() | BBCode to optionally display a profile field? Hi! I'm wanting to make it so my users can input their PC specs in their, and then put it in their signatures. Is it possible to make a BBCode that triggers the profile field information, and inserts it into wherever the BBCode is place? This would mainly be used in signatures, so for instance in their signatures they could put [PCSpec][/PCSpec] vBulletin then parses it, and churns out the profile fields appropriate to it. Much like a custom field added to the postbit, except this times it's a BBCode to make it optionally displayed. Any ideas? I'm also using vBulletin 3.8.1

![]() ![]() | This is not, to my knowledge, possible with BBCODE. You could add a custom profile field and then use $post[fieldnumber] to display the custom field in the postbit template.

| Forum Junkie ![]() | There lies the issue though, some people will be way overboard with specs, it's why i'd prefer a customizable little BBCode to display it, it's no real issue though. Just would have been a neat addition
