Profile Albums Spammed

I recently had a load of spammers register at my site, they registered activated their accounts but didn't post.

I found out today what their game is, they create an album in their profile and give it a big daft title containing loads of spam.

I don't know what they hope to achieve exactly but I've put a stop to it now anyway.

Very interesting! Thanks for posting this -- it caused me to think about this on my own site.

I had my members list configured to only show members with one or more posts. Because of this, there appear to be no links to any photo albums created by users who do not post. Those pages, if they exist, are orphaned pages.

How did you put a stop to it on your forum?

I wonder what the quickest way to find albums with spam in them is? This isn't one of the options in the AdminCP user search.

Yeah, spam on profile pages and albums is a lot harder to track, a lot of it requires members to use reported posts if it is on their own profile.
