I've been thinking about merging two of my communities together and I was wonder how hard it would be.

I want to do it like this...
-Users from the other board will have the same skin from the other site
-Merge a particular forum into one of the bigger ones.

Zachery helped out with the Best-Board merge, but I did quite a bit of it and will perform all of the merge tomorrow...it's not too bad - just set aside plenty of time for testing and also plenty of time for the merge itself...as there is a lot of tedious work involved. Regarding the skin...I'm not sure how that setting works for each user profile...What I would do is perform a test merge and see what everybody has their style selection set to...if it's not what you want it set at, then you'll need to run an SQL query to change all user styles for the new id's after the merge to the style you'd like...if you're not sure how to do that, let me know and I'll see if I can come up with a query for you.

Do you have lots of mods that you want converted? How do the vB versions compare?
