removing links on Navbar?

Just wondering if anyone could please explain to me how to remove links on the nav bar? particullary, as i wont to remove the callendar link. i find no use for it.

ugh i cant think of it right now and i dont have the time to see it but i will check it out later in a few hours.. but by then someone will say it probably

edit: ok got it

go to Look & Feel > Edit Template HTML > All Global HTML > global_board_header find

i removed

Code:

<a href="{ipb.script_url}act=calendar">{ipb.lang['tb_calendar']}</a>

and if you want to make another link just do this

Code:

<a href="{ipb.script_url}">Your Link</a>

the {ipb.script_url} will be your forum url so for sticksanctum if it is at www.sticksanctum.com/forums it will be www.sticksanctum.com/forums...

the good thing about using {ipb.script_url} is if you change your board address you wont have to go edit your template and change every link you made with the old address

Edit nevermind, i found out how to do it.

i really want to learn how to install mods on IPB, is doing this a part of it?

also how do you put divider lines between url's?

divider | lines? | Like | these? | they are just the sift+back slash on your keyboard.
