Merge 2.2.1 Board With Invisionfree

I was wondering if it is possible to merge a 2.2.1 IPB board with an invisionfree board? Any help would be greatly appreciated
.
Thanks

I don't think theres a utility to merge ANY IPB boards. If there was, you'd have to upgrade the IF database to 2.2.1 and then merge the two.

I didn't think that merging an IPB 2.2.1 database with an IF database was possible, but I could be wrong.

You may want to try the IPS Corporate Support Forums.

Just in case anyone cares there is no program to merge one IPB forum with another you would have to do it by hand and to do it by hand you would:

Quote:
To bring in ONE post, you'd have to bring in the post, reassign the pid number to not overlap with an existing post, then you'd have to bring in the topic, reassign the topic_id so that it doesn't overlap with an existing topic, then edit the post you brought in to reflect the new topic id, then bring in the forum that the topic was in, edit the forum to a unique ID so it doesn't overlap, edit the topic to reflect the new forum, then bring in the member who posted it, assigning a new member ID, bring in their members_converge and member_extra tables, reassigning their IDs to the members new ID, then edit the topic and post to use the new member number, oh and don't forget that you cannot duplicate email addresses, so you have to make sure the email address in the members and members_converge tables don't already exist.

Do all that, and you've merged 1 post. Lather, rinse and repeat. And if that post is a poll or has an attachment, there's about 15 more steps.
So its in no way worth it
